Principal's Message

Welcome Preschool Parents!

Dear Parents,

This school year will be an exciting time in your family---preschoolers are always growing and discovering!  2020-21 will be a year of growth and discovery for them.  The Robla Preschool has been working with our community's youngest learners since 1965! Over these past 55 years, we have offered our students a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters learning and community building.

We believe that our students are the hope of tomorrow and we are dedicated to helping them become confident, eager learners. Our learning experiences are balanced; we know that children benefit from guided learning balanced with their play which is also their work! Their happiness and confidence is evident in all they do.

Robla Preschool is an active learning community that reflects the diversity of Sacramento.  We believe in establishing strong partnerships with our families as we prepare our students for their elementary years and beyond.  Our daily instructional experiences address all of the learning domains of young children:  social-emotional, cognitive, oral language, pre-academic, motor and creative skills.  Throughout all of their school day, we view children's ability to express themselves, solve problems and gain information as essential to their development.

This year will look a little different as we navigate together providing quality learning virtually.  As soon as we are able, we will move to in person learning opportunities for our youngest Robla students.

We are looking forward to the year ahead and please know that we are in this together!  Under normal circumstances, we have an open-door policy and are available to talk with you at any time.  This remains the case, but for now it must be done virtually or through appointment until we are able to move to in person opportunities. We hope that you find this as an opportunity to work together for the benefit of your child.  Parents, we appreciate your help and ideas, please feel free to email your child's teacher or I, when you have something you'd like to share.

Sincerely,
